And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
At the Vidalia Onion Festival this past weekend, at the car show was a Rust-o-mod Model T pickup with a Godzilla motor stuffed into it. The motor wore distressed paint. I talked to the owner and it was a new stamped cab that had the top chopped off. The distressed rust patina was all paint.
Is it just me or is that a really long exhaust system on the Ducati? The engine in the painting is a Honda RA16 series turbo V6 from the late '80s early '90s. Al_in_Ottawa
Yes, it is really hard to improve on the original head pipes on a two valve aircooled Ducati. The intake ports are the limiting factor to to HP production. It takes quite a bit of work to get 92 to 94 HP out of one. I'm looking at a belt drive 900SS right now that has 12-1's and flat slide Lectrons and expansion silencers. Might make 81 - 82 HP, up from stock 71 HP. Any more and it's unrideable on the street.
