And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It takes a special kind of stupid to do things like that. Sure he's got more nerve than I, but that doesn't make him smart or brave. Only suicidal and reckless.
There is a cord up to him from below but not above so he's either climbing lead on that line or alone. No harness or helmet so even if that cord is "dynamic" if he takes a 30 footer he's likely going to be too injured to get himself down. Either way, trying to prove you're an ace like that is putting the rest of your party at great risk.
