And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Many, MANY years ago, as a soldier in the United States Army, I got to fly in a C-124 "Globemaster", hauling a pair of UH-1 "Iroquois" helicopters from McChord Air Force Base at Tacoma, Washington, to Gray Army Air Field at Fort Hood, Texas, afterwards terminating at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, one of the very last flights before that aircraft was retired from the United States Air Force!
Ol' Shakey. Ask my why we called the behemoth that kindly nickname. a very good cargo plane. there are some video of them doing their cargo thing during the construction of the DEW line radar network in the norther climes. well worth watching.
