  1. Many, MANY years ago, as a soldier in the United States Army, I got to fly in a C-124 "Globemaster", hauling a pair of UH-1 "Iroquois" helicopters from McChord Air Force Base at Tacoma, Washington, to Gray Army Air Field at Fort Hood, Texas, afterwards terminating at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, one of the very last flights before that aircraft was retired from the United States Air Force!
