  1. If this is 28 days shouldn't there be 28 images? And shouldn't it be a complete loop? (where the beginning and the end occupy the same location +/-1)

  2. Anonymous raises a good point. "Same time each day" can't be. Point your camera at moonrise on the full moon, for example. Come back and do it again five days later and the moon won't have risen. A couple of days before full, it would be much higher in the sky.

    Cool picture, but I think the captioning is wrong.

  3. Yes, it is wrong. The sun's position is betrayed by the shadow it casts on the moon. The sun can't be North, South, East and West of the same location over any period of time really.
