    I got a 182 that with min fuel and only me can be in the air on a cold day in less than 400 ft.

    1. Sweet. I'm learning to fly. I've long loved the Cessna 170 and 180/182's. May buy one once I get my ticket and some flight time logged.

    2. Good for you. I sold my business and did it 2 years ago. Bought the 182P and have logged over 200 hours this past year. Flew from Chicago to Texas once, lots of shorter trips. I'm getting close to getting my Instrument ticket soon.

      You can carry full fuel and 4 people for 4 hours in a 182. Having your own plane isn't that much more expensive than renting a 172 or a Warrior and it gives you a LOT more freedom...and you can carry more.
