And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I got to use Ilsa's next line ("How nice, you remembered,") under similarly awkward circumstances with my own 175-cm Swedish girl. For values of "my" that is. In any case, it did not go over well :-)
There's a group of certain women ( Ingrid B., Audrey Hepburn, Deborah Kerr, Sophia L., etc.) that are in a class by themselves. They've always had style and beauty without being tawdry or vulgar. That's more than can be said for 99.9% of the talentless bimbos that roam around in Hollywood trying to justify their existences.
