I think the bears eco niche is taken by the hyena. carrion is their speciality. the bear is an omnivore, able to eat anything slower then they are. the hyena is not because it evolved in a herbivore target rich environment. the bear, not so much. killing this bear for cleaning up some stupid human is stupid. should have given him a cookie instead. why is it PETA is not up in arms about this?
Bears will eat anything. This particular bear just decided to get high on meth and everybody treats it like a criminal.
