It was 1:00am, and I kept hearing a dripping sound, so I got up, looked outside, and saw this

It's pounding down a wet snow in Redding.

Looking out the back window toward Hobbiton.

The pergola and Jennifer's Forest are getting a solid dose of the white stuff.

View from the front door.

Hey, my truck...

Four inches by 2am.

    1. Facts are not part of that argument, it's about propaganda & money.

  3. That's going to be July weather soon as the glaciers creep south. The only thing that might save the planet is BBQing steaks and drinking from plastic straws.

  4. Got 16+ inches in my backyard over this past weekish, and I live in north Seattle pretty much in town. We do not do that in Seattle. Lots more in the Cascade foothills and the Olympics. Should be quite the glittering show when the clouds clear.

  5. That kinda stuff is the one thing about living in Anderson that I didn’t much care for.
Fortunately, I only experienced it maybe had a dozen times in 40 years.
