I was cutting some old boards up the other day and sawed right through some ancient Colibri slugs that me and the kids probably shot into it in years long gone by.
The Colibri's look like .22 shells, but they have no powder, so they're propelled only by the primer. They're super quiet, don't annoy anyone with noise, and are the equivalent of a pellet gun, but with your normal .22 rifle.
Kids loved it. I loved it. Good times.
We used to occasionally hit lead in logs we were sawing. It didn't hurt the saw, of course, unless some idiot had been hunting with old military steel jacket ammo.
ReplyDeleteDon't ever get any bullets stuck in the barrel, like some squib rounds would do?
ReplyDeleteColibri is German for 'hummingbird'. I shoot 'CB' rounds. Same as Colibri.
