I moved from a blue state to a red state and it changed my life

To Indiana, specifically.

"Never does one ask how the Indiana public schools provide many opportunities that have been cut from California’s public schools because of one budget crisis after another. Never does one ask about the low cost of living that is allowing us to pay off the mountain of debt we accrued in California. And never does one ask about my fellow community members, who are running successful businesses, enriching the city's arts and making a difference for the local environment."

  1. I don't know if you're acquainted with Pumice or not. If I remember, he was born and raised in "Kalifornia," but the second he retired, he moved to Texas.

  2. Another liberal who'll move to a successful area and then begin championing the same failed ideas and programs that made California such a lost cause. She is a prime example of California exported its misery to the rest of the nation.

  3. Me same experience, different states. New Jersey to North Carolina. No regrets and will never go back above the Mason-Dixon line.

  4. Thought at first this was a reference to blogger Bill Quick, the Dailypundit. He was from Indiana, but lived for many years in San Francisco.

He's now moved back to Indiana, and enjoys being back in the United States once more.
