And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've flown as a passenger a couple of time in the StratoCruiser. My father was a Pan Am engineer back in the early 1950's and we lived in Miami. Use to take "ferry flights" from Miami Intl. to Idlewild Intl. and back. Since Pan Am had a major radial engine overhaul facility in Miami the "ferry" traffic was heavy. I was about 10 at the time but I can still remember climbing those tall portable stairs up into the plane.
