And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Amazing skills. Some people just need a challenge.
I have a pretty good idea of what went into that project. I've been a machinist for nearly 40 years. Working to blueprints, I have made lots of interesting things, some quite intricate: military and commercial aircraft parts, satellite, rocket and missile parts, medical, robotics and weapons parts, and commercial automotive and custom race car components. Also some super-secret stuff.
But I'm no engineer, and I never produced an assembly of that complexity.
That was so incredible it almost defies description.
