And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I may need to try one of these next time I make shepherd's bread.
I agree, as I use them regularly with no issues. Two thumbs up! I've also given up fried okra, choosing instead to coat in olive oil, salt and flour, and BAKE on one of these silicone mats.
I have a set of Silicone baking mats.

ReplyDeleteSilpats are my favorite, but as Anon says parchment works too.
ReplyDeleteI bought one those (the exact same one) for my wife 3 or 4 years ago and now she absolutely will not bake anything without it.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty certain she has 4 or 5 of them now, just for increased cookie production, etc.
They are equally effective for making homemade venison jerky and such.
I believe you can still find slightly less expensive versions (some perforated for jerky) on Amazon to this day.
