Flying Humvee - the expensive way to deliver a truck

A C-17 Globemaster III from Alaska Air National Guard's 249th Airlift Squadron drops a Humvee fitted with a parachute system out the back of the aircraft over Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 27, 2015, during Pacific Airlift Rally. PAR is a biennial, military aircraft symposium sponsored by Pacific Air Forces for nations in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. This year's PAR was co-hosted by Alaska ANG's 176th Wing. The exercise uses a humanitarian assistance/disaster relief scenario to provide participating nations the opportunity to cooperate, interact and advance airlift topics specific to the region. 1. If the USAF loved me, they'd deliver one of those beauties by dropping it onto the street in front of my house. I can do much more with it than some third world potentate.

  2. Speaking of Hummers, according to Trump the US left 2,300 of them in Iraq. ISIS now has them.

    1. We thought we were leaving them to our ally, but they are so cowardly without us backing them up that they just ran away and left them to the bad guys. Gotta admit, we can really pick 'em.
