And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Seems I'm looking at an inline 4cyl. shaft drive moped with possibly a 3 speed trans? (Based on the shift linkage, and what appears to be a driveshaft disconnect for pedaling.)
Any details on this critter? Age? I'd guess around 1915-1920. I'd like to see more of it, especially the rear hub.
In its day, vastly innovative and remarkably light weight given the era in which it was produced.
