And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

A glimpse of the past.
I never really associated Rambler and "high performance" together, unless they meant a good milage car at a reasonable cost.
Well let's see, Javelin and AMX come immediately to mind. Of course there was the Gremlin at the opposite end of the 'high performance' continuum...................;-)
Let's all look back to Hayden Proffitt!! The Machine! The Rebel! Talk to a drag racer of the day and you'll hear that AMC had some really great engine designs. Very much under rated autos.
All you gotta do is look at the picture. Backed in against the wall I count 5 that I would give my left ... for any of. Plus another on the back of the truck.
