The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A 1st grader that can write and form complex relationships is most likely more intelligent than the teacher. The teacher is more educated but not smarter. Pounding the spark out of children to become unthinking drones is the reason for public schools. Little Harold is going to go far if he can escape the cookie cutter.
