And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Spotted in Jacob Lake, AZ (near North Rim Grand Canyon). Thanks, Don!
These old trucks were all over N. AZ when I was growing up. Luckily they don't decay much beyond this patina with the weather up there. Dad had one for getting firewood on that had the old mechanical turn signals hanging off the side. Square gear boxes will keep you lively on the clutch. And full-time 4WD keeps your arms strong - young-uns never seem to understand why we had huge steering wheels back then (leverage).
bottom line, after you get that first scratch on it, it's just a truck. i'll take it as is.
ReplyDeleteStuff a modern engine and tranny/transfer case, convert to front discs, be a nice rig to own.
ReplyDeleteThe Clampetts hung out in AZ?!
