And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? We had a few, they was always a bother getting into animal feed and the truck garden, truly a pest, tried to get them relatively tame from the weaned stage, they all got very nasty tempered after a few years, the switch from pleasant to vicious was like a days time. What reduced their population explosion was fish and game re-populating the fisher cats, whose main diet is coons, then porcupines second. Those are the nastiest predators, got a head and snout about as ugly as it gets, but the fur is spectacular, big long ruffed tails, truly nasty dispositions.
