And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Agreed. Thinking all that snow melt going into my pasture soil and limestone well/spring structures would be a welcome recharge after 4 winters of no snow or rain.
Did a nordic skiing trip there last winter. Thought it would be the gold standard, but wound up being very disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the native women are beautiful, but the country itself is completely dysfunctional and being overrun by migrants.
