  1. Looks like the one I had in high school only my top was black. '47 civilian if I remember correctly. Had vacuum windshield wiper on the drivers side and a hand cranked one for the passenger.

  2. We had a mil surplus 1945 Jeep on the farm during my youth and teen years. A repair manual and tools were under the front seats. That Jeep taught me to never want a Jeep. Rough ride, hot in the summer and cold in the winter, I will stick with creature comforts the Lariat SuperDuty provides.

  3. My brother has 3 Jeeps. That's how they look most of the time, hood up. Jeep wave is just good practice for waving down help

  4. any late model Jeep with a V6 -
    will have cam bearing failure - clock is ticking.

    too bad they dont last like the M38 in the photo
