  3. Oh man, we used to go in about 4 miles up the Kankamankas Highway from the Bear Notch Road, (NH White Mtn NF), its around nine miles as the Swift River flows, get out at the bridge on the Bear Notch Road, take from 9am till 3-4 pm, truck inner tubes are best, have a few extra, someone always gets a flat, and two for your cooler of food and drink, couple years we had pretty good crowd go along. Phenomenal scenery, most of the river along that section is all but inaccessible on foot due to terrain and the spruce bog swamps, pretty much untouched. I like to bring a fly rod, some truly deep pools at log jambs or piles of erratic boulders that create deep gorges. Catch a creel of brookies to cook over drift wood camp fire.
