  1. But not too remote ... it's got grid power, if the heat pump it anything to go by.

  2. Heat pumps are OK for air conditioning but horrible for heating.

    1. Only at really low temps in my experience. In the teens Fahrenheit is where the efficiency drops off.

  3. Too tiny, probably room for a sink, bathroom & one bed, if the ladder to the upstairs doesn't take up too much space on the 1st floor.

  4. Fishing Shack below the main house up the hill. Mini-Splits are terrific for certain applications, great for cooling, not so great for heating…but a small woodstove to supplement is cozier.

  6. Trappers shack, down by the river, after checking your string of muskrat traps, then caping out your daily limit, you got a spot to warm up, have some bacon and coffee, so the misses ain't up your arse about your stinky work clothes, plus you really need a warm spot for your kid'(s) you take out with you in the canoe, they get wet no matter what all, and usually are shivering to beat the band before you get back. (PS, the skinning shack is just out of sight.)
