And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
unlikely. The ignition coil would act like an antenna loading coil & let the magic smoke outta that condenser in a split second. Real EMP shielding involves layers of iron & lead (iron to reflect, lead to absorb), an inch thick. Any vehicle wouldn't fare any better than a garbage can with a lit - that's all internet myth.
Mine's and '85. Replaced all running gear with 3/4t, including a NV4500 5 speed transmission. Not afraid of pulling my camper, or anyone's mistakes in the woods, and I've recovered a few folks over the years.
New cars must be getting really bad, lot of people seem to want like 2008 or older. Still have the old 89 K2500, have not been in a new ride must be 10 years, the wife has a 2008 jeep, its got blue tooth but nothing else but standard code read ecu.
Replace the HEI with actual points and it would survive an EMP.
