    Excerpt from Wikipedia...

"USCGC Eagle (WIX-327), formerly known as Horst Wessel and also as Barque Eagle, is a 296-foot (90 m) barque used as a training cutter for future officers of the United States Coast Guard. She is one of only two active commissioned sailing vessels in the US military today, along with the USS Constitution."

Built by Blohm+Voss, Hamburg and launched on 13 June 1936. Captured after the war ended in April 1945, it was transferred to the US as a war prize.

  2. Blohm & Voss also built the Bismark.
I saw a ten foot model of the Bismark when we were there in about 2010.
