And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Flying without proper navigation charts, aids and radio, Pacific Clipper flew a total of 31,500 miles, 6,000 miles of which was over uncharted desert and jungle, over five of the world’s seven continents, three oceans, and made 18 stops in 12 different nations.
