And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Watched a video on what Elvis liked to eat. Lots of bacon. Pic related would've just been a small part of his breakfast (missing sausage and the buttermilk biscuits). But the "no wonder this man died on the toilet" moment came when you saw his midnight snack, the fool's gold loaf. Take 1 loaf of bread, cut in half, hollow out each side. 1 hollow get a jar of peanut butter, the other hollow gets a jar of jam, and a pound of bacon in the middle of it all.
