And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Nice rifle. Hope it can come with trad sights. It's a 19" bbl and only in pistol calibers so why is a scope needed? YMMV but 150 yards is a long shot with a rainbow flight path.
Pointy tip ammunition isn't advised when the rounds are loaded into a tube. For the little lady, a 357 round has less recoil than a 30-30... if she's hunting deer.
One of my absolute favorite guns is my Marlin 1894 in 44 Mag. Hits like a truck. I scoped mine too, but did it with a long eye relief model, so I was able to mount it at the front of the rail for quick, accurate (old eyes) shots.
Discover the RAN series, where the soul of the Wild West is revitalized through premium craftsmanship and modern precision.
Built around a heavy-duty steel receiver that maximizes durability while minimizing vibrations, this series offers a shooting experience that far exceeds standard imports.
Whether you choose the 10-round .357 Magnum or the 9-round .44 Magnum and .45 Long Colt variants, each rifle is finished in a striking, polished nickel that provides both a timeless aesthetic and a resilient layer of protection for every outing.
Blending classic elegance with modern versatility, the RAN features an exquisite walnut stock and handguard enhanced with integrated M-LOK slots for contemporary attachments.
The threaded barrel and Picatinny-ready rail provide the adaptability today’s hunters and recreational shooters demand, while the adjustable iron sights ensure authentic accuracy right out of the box.
From its refined walnut furniture to its rugged engineering, the RAN stands as a testament to style and substance, making it the ultimate companion for those who value heritage and performance in equal measure.
If you can get that rifle for $900 jump on it. The Fore end has the Woox mark, so it's gonna run near that for the wood alone (matching stock). Rifle may be one of the Marlin 45-70s in stainless, which is another grand.
Nice scope. Looks like a Leupold 1.5 to 5, Vari-X 3. I have a couple of those but none on lever guns. Steve_in_Ottawa
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely buy her a beer.
ReplyDeleteI'd buy her a few cases of cheap soda and a few boxes of ammo so we could go plinking.
Deletei wouldn't want to be the guy she's looking at in that picture
ReplyDeleteI want it...the gun. I'll take her too if she isn't too ornery.
