And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

And look at all of the jars of canned goods under the bed at the lower right. Hard work and privilege indeed! Like my dad said when we still farmed: "We were never rich in money, but there was always food on the table." Or under the bed, in this case!
My folks had 11 of us. Neighbors had 16. Wife & I have 8. What's a big family, I don't know - but we're on our first & only spouse. It's all about loving someone.
