57, When Oldsmobile Ruled

  1. And when you could tell cars apart from each other. Oldsmobile did well in '57 selling 398,569 cars in total. Chevy sold 1,507,904 and Ford came out on top with 1,676,448 thanks to new models including the fold-away hardtop convertible. This Olds is an 88 Fiesta Wagon with the rear door handles removed.

  2. Gorgeous lines!
...and look at that near 360 degree visibility!
Compare THAT to your typical plastic, econo-box NOW.

  3. Something looks off here. Maybe it's the resolution on my little Kindle screen, but on one view
looks like 4 doors and the other looks like 2. Maybe it does have the door handle
removed. I have seen the Pontiac 2 door model that had the Nomad trim but they
are exceedingly rare. This is a beautiful custom tho'. I always thought the Olds
were best looking of the G M line after the Chevys.
