  3. If that truly is Roman, look at the artistic verisimilitude, and note that there wouldn't be artistic skill like that for a thousand years after Rome fell to the barbarian hordes. I know, they want us to call it Early Medieval and Medieval, or Early Middle Ages or Late Antiquity, and all the other terms to put a gloss on what it really truly was: the European Dark Ages. Keep polishing that turd, historians.
