  1. In case of Grizzlies, wolves or illegals, I'll take the MRAP sleeper!

  4. If yer mechanized anyway, that blows the doors off a tent. Plus, you can still have a tent. Water proof, lockable, self contained organizer!

  5. I have a buddy who travels all over the country. One year he got one of these mini-sleeping trailers. After about four months, he elected to sell it and get hotel rooms.

  6. We have one for Adirondack camping. Kitchen in the back from an outside entrance. Cool in the summer and warm in the spring and fall. Dry. We are in our mid seventies and it works for now. It’s 12 years old and counting.

  7. On a job in an austere setting, one of the workers had a WWII era jeep trailer with bed under canvas pop-up. About this same size. He slept well, was real effort to climb into

    1. Of wanders in the 11 Western states, the most snakes I've seen was helping a fellow golfer find his ball in the rough. After looking for several minutes I looked up and saw maybe fifty snakes of different species swiftly crawling away.
"Hey, Dan, look.". He looked and took a fright. Funny because he is from Phoenix and is used to 'desert golf'.

I have seen exactly one Mohave Green. True to their nature, he was coming after me. The most aggressive, those are the kind that scare me.

  9. You should be carrying a club at all times, just in case. Smack that sucker into the next tee area. Hmm, maybe carry a housecat? Fastest snake is only half as quick as a cat is. Looks hazardous when they get to tangling, but the cat is just loafing.
