And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Not too long from now this will look like ancient history
Kessler syndrome - a late 1970s concept. When too much space junk accumulates in low Earth orbit, space travel could become impossible, trapping us on the planet. Even a small screw floating in space can turn lethal at high velocity. As larger space junk collides, it creates hundreds, maybe thousands of smaller projectiles. Tracking this sort of debris is not possible. Interesting idea.
