  1. Kessler syndrome - a late 1970s concept. When too much space junk accumulates in low Earth orbit, space travel could become impossible, trapping us on the planet. Even a small screw floating in space can turn lethal at high velocity. As larger space junk collides, it creates hundreds, maybe thousands of smaller projectiles. Tracking this sort of debris is not possible. Interesting idea.

    I ain’t no rocket scientist. If the above needs correction, bring it.
