And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
"Night of the Lepus." Freaked me and my brothers out when we were little. I was reminded of that movie a couple of weekends ago when we stayed at an in-law's house in Sublette, KS. We pulled into the driveway of the farmhouse and saw dozens of rabbits scattered all over the yard, munching on the grass. Neither my wife nor any of her relatives had ever heard of the movie.
Now I've got to put together some sort of setup like that for the small bunnies we get in our yard.
