And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Yep. At this point in life all of us already have a "system" and we're unlikely to change. For 20 years at least, when my wife asks me what I want for Christmas I tell her I don't want anything at all. Why? Simple. When I want something I get it. I don't wait for imaginary dates on a calendar or the kindness of others.
add me to a hopefully ever growing amen chorus. And my selections aren't candidates for exchange. My wish list is confined to a short list of home cooked meals.
After two weeks it becomes just another dust catcher.
