And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Both my flashlights went out one evening hoofing back to the house, had no way to excite the glow in the dark bits, never went into the woods again without a tritium version, looks the same just has the constant glow lamp bits. Real real handy to have.
Always carry one in my backpack. Went in to a camping shop recently to get a newer one. Asked for a Silva compass and was told they didn't have any, only black ones!
I still have my 50(?) year old Silva Ranger which is very similar to this and that is with me every time I step into the woods. Steve_in_Ottawa

Good for aiming antennas and solar panels. Also found out my house Ridgeline points due north, just like the pyramids.
