And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Not only build quality is better. modern cars routinely drive for 250,000 miles with little maintenance. You would be luck if you made it past 65,000 miles in a car Cars from the 60s without an engine rebuild. Do you remember how often you had to push/jump start your parents cars?
Also looks like the antenna moved from right to left between pictures. I have a question on the wheels, too. They sure don't seem like Mopar wheels to me...am I wrong?
I like cars, I admire people's skills and craftmanship to be able to take an old piece of junk and make it look like new. But these fake images suck the fun out of staring at images and admiring other people's work, patience and dedication.
a blue bumble bee????
ReplyDeleteMore AI slop.

The hood scoops disappeared also.
DeleteBack when cars were actually made well.
ReplyDeleteYou are kidding, right? Don’t confuse nice designs with build quality. I doubt there’s a well-aligned panel anywhere on a ~1970 car.
DeleteToday’s cars may not have the most interesting designs, but the build quality is vastly superior to cars from so long ago.

A neighbor had one when I was a kid. These pics are wrong. They are close but every one of them is wrong.
