And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I thought the Wildcat was a carrier based plane, not one usually flown from a land based field. After a litlle googling, I found out this was really the Cactus Air Force.
As flown by Joe Foss off Henderson Field on Guadalcanal, for which he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

DeleteHow many Henderson fields were there? I know of three. Well, the field in CA has been turned into a trailer park.
