And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Liquidated all my properties in Charlotte except for my NC Mtn. house by late 2018. Moved to Charleston, SC. Planned on going to LA (never been there) in February. 2019 and staying in The BH Hotel for a week. Around $900/night weekdays, $1200 Fri/Sat, from what I remember.
Blind date New Years Eve. 7+ years later still with her. Plans change, no LA trip. No way we'd go there now.
