And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I agree fully. We have four rescue German Shepherds and two rescue cats. When my wife asks me, "Look at this one. Can we foster it?" My heart melts and I say, "Why don't we just adopt it?"
I had one that looked almost exactly like this one. Grew into a big goofy sweetheart. Lived to be 15, and is still missed, 25 years later. --Tennessee Budd
