And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
But safe...can't forget safe. You'll walk away from a 90mph crash, the car will be beat to death, but the passengers will walk. A positive, I suppose, as opposed to "car still works, but the driver?".
What a BEAUTY! To me, the style, interior and exterior, are timeless. I would wager that, new on a showroom floor today, it would out-sell whatever current plastic SUV you put it up against.
Thats a stunner! Looks a lot like a Mercury wagon my dad had, think it was like near a 59 maybe, i was a little turd so its hard to recall details like year, similar great style, same two tone color.
This is a 1957 Oldsmobile Fiesta Hardtop Station Wagon in red and silver.
Rare Two-Door Body Style: This vehicle features a pillarless hardtop design, combining the sporty look of a coupe with station wagon utility.
Custom Features: Many of these models, including this one, have been customized with modified engines, such as a 455ci Oldsmobile V8, and modern updates like air conditioning and disc brakes.
Distinctive Design: The wagon is noted for its dramatic styling, including expressive tri-bar brake lights and extensive chrome trim.
