And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
As someone who had to wear glasses as a child and was called "4 eyes...." I think glasses like that look ridiculous - they're WAY too big! But it's the "in" thing these days, I guess. Looks stupid!
You have that right. They just look plain stupid. I have worn glasses pretty much all of my life (short sighted) but those simple glasses have saved my eyes from so much damage over the years....but they were never a 'statement'. And my ophthalmologist says I don't really need them anymore. She's never seen a blown rifle primer. Not to say that I would load to those levels. Steve_in_Ottawa
