  3. Please remember that most of the dents on Parisian cars are from American tourists who still think that zebra stripes gives them the right-of-way.

  4. I stood on one of the corners and watched the cars for about 15 mins.... I don't know how they did it, but it worked.

  6. People 'round these parts can't manage a 4-way roundabout- they hit everything around them in a 12-way.

  7. Baron Haussmann was building an artillery fire base to suppress urban riots, but disguised it with a triumphal arch. A battalion of 12 pounder muzzle loaders aimed down this avenues could dominate an entire fauborge.
