And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Twice now we've been on west coast Mexican beaches during a hatching watching the little creatures head for the water, with some of them getting flipped on their backs by waves, in some cases way high up the beach with small chances of getting flipped back to right side up.
Some of us turned them over, others said "No, let nature take its course."

We are not separate from nature, rather part of it. Flip them over. That's part of nature, to help our fellow creatures when we can.
