Garage Treasure

  1. i had a couple late 60's trumpets and liked the bikes. other than the electrical system. at one point i had a second floor apartment and i needed to do the top end on the triumph so i broke it down piece by piece and rebuilt it in my living room. with help i lowered it down the outside stairs with rope and a come along. couldn't get it running to save my life. so we loaded it into a truck and took it to the triumph guy in tacoma and he got it going. seem to remember something about a funky Zener Diode. i just had something wired up wrong.

I rode HD's during my triumph phase (still do) but the triumph got me thought a time where i had a broken right ankle. since it was right side shift i just moved the shifter straight up and would pull the clutch with my left hand and reach down and shift with my right hand. rode that way for a long time until i was healed up and could work the brake on my HD.

the bikes in the pic look like they all might be in ridable condition. sweet.

  2. Wow. Just wow. No dust or other signs of neglect. Not a garage find, just some Triumph lover's hoard. Just a little jealous.
