And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My daughter's pet rats do tricks for treats, they are surprisingly smart wee animals, easily smarter than most cats, on a par with most dogs, at least about coming to their individual names. Remember, these little fur balls exist in our cities, even with all the intelligence of humans trying to eradicate them. And, and as much as I like cats, it is cats that do humans the more damage, health wise. My last house backed onto forestland, I used to have a few nightly visitors, one possum and one Norwegian rat, the possum would be given a slice of bread with butter and rolled oats on top, the rat, a sleek, black, otter looking beauty, would get his slice with peanut butter and rolled oats ... both of them would take the offering gently in their paws, walk away a distance and then eat them. We humans forget we should share this world of theirs with them.
Sounds nice except after the bubonic plague (endemic in US + Mexico) comes in .... and soon considering the status of street people in rat country and since the civ collapse is supposedly expected shortly. Trump tries but its way too little too late.
That is disgusting.
ReplyDeleteShortly after this photograph was taken, she tested positive for Hantavirus and died. Fortunately, Micky came through unscathed.
ReplyDeleteYou dirty rat!
ReplyDeleteThat's Hanta Montana.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! You win the internet for today.
DeletePet rats, no thanks.
