And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

At least it's big enough to pretend to work. Filters a 360 cf space 4-5 times/hr. With 7 ft ceilings, that's roughly the size of a typical jail cell (6x8 feet). Room air changes per hour vary, but 3 is a pretty much minimum, 5 more typical. In a tiny, polluted space this may be helpful; in a normal room with normal air exchange, minimal effect - probably detectable, functionally irrelevant.
