And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
5 years ago I stupidly broke the tip off my 40 year old Buck 112. I contacted Buck and they said send them the knife with $10 for shipping. A month later I got back what appeared to be a brand new knife.
Bought a Buck folding pocket knife during the Spring of 1976 from Warren's Sporting Goods (Northern Idaho) along with a blaze orange rucksack which I still have. The Buck knife I have carried daily except when hospitalized or flying and at night is in a pile of change and keys awaiting a new day.
