And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
If I'm not mistaken, that's an F-100 or F-150 'Twin I Beam' badge on the fender. This pickup is a composite, not that that's bad. I'd love to own it, beautiful patina and all.
I can understand the appeal of an old, patina'd truck, but I cannot understand its popularity, where guys will seek it out and clear coat it like it's some kind of brag. A truck looks best when its old and well cared for.

ReplyDeleteMy dad had one of these, restored back in the 70’s from a junk yard. What I wouldn’t do to have that back.
