  3. Interesting timing. I'm in the midst of putting together a family reunion presentation on family members who gave their lives for the country (U.S.). One was a USMC pilot who disappeared with his Corsair over Bougainville during WWII. While he went missing in November 1943, he wasn't declared legally dead until January 1946. The two dates help distinguish the pedants among us.
